World’s largest market, Japan is the largest solar power world
The report said the market power of the Japanese Solar estimates will reach 19.8 billion U.S. dollars (1.91 trillion yen) in 2013, surpassing Germany – the country holding “consistent army “of solar power from 2009-2012.
The installation of new solar PV system is expected to add a total capacity of 5.3 GW of solar power this year, equivalent to the power output years of nuclear reactors.
The use of solar power is increasing in Japan since the country this month 7/2012 issued incentive program for renewable energy after the catastrophic earthquake, tsunami month 3/2011 caused Japan to shut down nuclear power plants and lead to power shortages.
Only in quarter 1/2013, the new solar power system installed in Japan has brought a total capacity of 1.5 GW, up from 0.4 GW in the same period last year.
In the meantime, the installation of new systems in Europe, including Germany, have fallen 34% in part due to the reduced solar electric power companies can sell electricity produced from solar energy .
